The Range Tennis Club is Queensland's oldest tennis club, established in 1893. Located at 40 Lindsay Street in East Toowoomba, just a short walk from the city centre, it has grown from a dozen members in 2020 to almost 600 today - making it one of Australia's fastest growing tennis clubs. The club offers four synthetic grass tennis courts with the latest LED court lighting, creating a modern facility steeped in over a century of history.
The club provides social and competitive tennis programs for all levels, with professional coaching available through junior and adult programs. Members and non-members can hire courts at affordable rates - $10-$15 per hour during the day and $15-$20 at night. The quaint updated clubhouse serves as the hub for regular fixtures, tournaments, and events including the annual Club Championships, Hospitals Cup, and Passionate Cup tri-series competitions.
