Known as the “Pro’s Pro,” Van der Meer transformed the sport’s teaching standards and trained more players and coaches than anyone in tennis history. Located on Hilton Head Island, the academy features two premier facilities: the Van Der Meer Tennis Center and the Shipyard Racquet Club, offering a total of over 30 hard and clay courts, including indoor and covered options—the only ones of their kind for hundreds of miles.
