Down the Line Tennis Academy

Down the Line Tennis Academy is York's premier tennis facility, located at York St John University Sports Park. The academy operates 3 indoor acrylic courts, 1 outdoor hard court, and 3 state-of-the-art padel courts, catering to players of all ages and abilities throughout the year. The facility is run by Rowan Moss, an LTA Level 5 Master Performance coach, alongside a team of qualified professionals dedicated to player development across technical, tactical, mental and physical areas.

The academy offers expert group and individual coaching for both juniors and adults, alongside tennis camps during school holidays and a successful performance programme featuring nationally ranked players. Additional facilities at the sports park include a sprint track, strength and conditioning lab, on-site café serving hot food and drinks, showers, changing rooms (all wheelchair accessible), and ample parking. Court bookings are available to both members and non-members via the secure ClubSpark system. The pro shop stocks Tecnifibre and Dunlop equipment, K-Swiss shoes, and offers professional stringing services with 24-hour turnaround.
