PMTR Tennis Academy

PMTR Tennis Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr is one of the Ruhr region’s key high-performance training centers, directed by Uwe Schumann for over two decades. Built on a holistic development philosophy, the academy integrates tennis, athletic training, and mental preparation into every program, supporting players from their first steps in the self-developed SIT children’s system all the way to advanced competitive tennis.

Across its three locations, PMTR works with more than 400 players and offers a full pathway of year-round training, camps, workshops, and tournament travel. The academy also hosts national and international competitions, including UTR Pro Tennis Tour events.

Its main site features a broad mix of indoor and outdoor courts, clay, hard, carpet, and artificial turf, along with support facilities and partner accommodations for visiting athletes. With a dedicated coaching team and structured, individualized development plans, PMTR provides a professional yet family-like environment for players of all ages and ambitions.
