Etoile Sportive St Leonard Tennis Ange is a tennis club located in the Saint-Léonard neighborhood of Angers, France. Founded in May 1977 through the initiative of Louis Blanvillain and Guy Tézé, the club grew from a small section within the broader Etoile Sportive association to become Tennis Saint-Léonard Angers in 2001. The club was built on volunteer effort, with two self-financed courts constructed by members to support early adult instruction.The club operates 7 tennis courts - 4 indoors and 3 outdoors - alongside a clubhouse. A tennis school was established in 1980 under Paulette Chevreul's direction. Today, the club aims to develop young talent, promote adult competition, and create a welcoming community space around the sport while strengthening its presence in the local neighborhood and beyond.
