About Us
Brandt Tennis Club is a traditional tennis establishment founded in 1937, located near park Den Brandt in Antwerp's Wilrijk area. The club currently operates nine quality gravel courts, each maintained and relaid annually. A significant expansion is planned for 2027, when the club will relocate to the Wilrijkse pleinen with twelve courts - six gravel and six all-weather surfaces - all equipped with lighting.
The clubhouse features an Art Deco design housing a welcoming bar and terrace with views overlooking court 3, the club's center court. Spectators can watch matches from an elevated viewing area spanning six courts. Coaching is available through the Baseline Tennis Academy, which operates under the direction of Wim Neefs and offers group lessons, private instruction, camps, and competitive training for all levels. The bar operates extended hours and serves as a social hub for members to relax after play.
Membership is available for youth, seniors, and families through Tennis Vlaanderen, which provides access to intercclub competitions, tournaments, and organized activities. Early registration before March 1, 2026 qualifies members for discounted rates.
