Rochester Athletic Club Tennis Academy

The Rochester Athletic Club (RAC) Tennis Academy is one of Minnesota’s leading tennis development programs, offering a complete pathway for players of all ages and skill levels — from young beginners discovering the game to advanced athletes pursuing collegiate and national competition.

The academy’s foundation begins with the innovative ROGY Tennis Program, which guides junior players through the stages of Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow ball progression. This developmental pathway blends the best of the USTA Net Generation curriculum with age-specific drills designed to build movement, balance, coordination, and sportsmanship. Each student receives personalized progress notes, helping parents and players track growth and set new goals.

Graduates of ROGY are invited into the RAC Tennis Academy, where players can follow two distinct paths — the Tournament Pathway or the High School Pathway.

• The Tournament Pathway focuses on high-performance juniors who compete in USTA events and aspire to play college tennis. From Futures and Challengers to Tour, Masters, and Grand Slam levels, players train with an emphasis on technical precision, tactical strategy, mental toughness, and physical conditioning.

• The High School Pathway prepares students for competitive varsity play through programs like High School Prep, Advanced, and Elite, which focus on doubles strategy, live-ball drills, and match play experience.
