Edgbaston Priory Club

Edgbaston Priory Club is one of the UK’s premier tennis destinations, offering a complete pathway from beginner to performance level. With 31 world-class courts, including grass, clay, hard, and eight indoor surfaces, as well as new all-weather clay and grass courts, the club provides year-round opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy and develop their game.

As an LTA Regional Player Development Centre (RPDC), Edgbaston Priory is recognised for its commitment to high-performance training. Junior players aged 6–18 benefit from a bespoke development pathway that combines technical coaching, match play, physical conditioning, and mental preparation, with the goal of progressing to the LTA Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) or earning university tennis scholarships in the UK or the US.

The club’s Performance Programme supports players aged 10–14 at regional level and beyond, offering elite-level coaching and access to expert performance staff.

For adults, Edgbaston Priory provides an exceptional tennis environment, whether you’re a beginner, returning player, or competitive athlete. A wide range of social tennis sessions, leagues, and team competitions allow players to stay active, connect with the community, and improve their skills. Over 80 teams represent the club at local, regional, and national levels, maintaining a strong record of success.

The academy also hosts an active events calendar, featuring friendly tournaments, charity events, club championships, and social gatherings such as the EPC Generation Cup and annual Tennis Awards Night.

Coaching at Edgbaston Priory is led by an experienced, LTA-qualified team, including specialists in performance, development, and community tennis. Private coaching, junior and adult courses, and bespoke training plans ensure that every player receives personalised guidance in a supportive and inspiring setting.
