About Us
Elmwood Lawn Tennis Club is a community-focused tennis club located on Holland Road in the Kensal Green area of London NW10. Accredited as both a Tennis Clubmark club and a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), it draws its membership from the local and surrounding areas and operates on a volunteer-led basis.
The club has six floodlit courts available year-round for matches, training and recreational play - three with an artificial clay surface and three with tarmac. A clubhouse and a large green area provide additional space for members, friends and families. Coaching is available for juniors and adults, with holiday camps also on offer. The club fields a number of junior, men's and women's teams and holds an annual internal tournament.
Regular club sessions allow members to drop in and play without prior arrangement. Friday evenings see a social scene at the clubhouse running from 19:30 to 23:00, described as friendly and well attended. The setting - a green open space within an urban part of north-west London - gives the club a distinctly local, community character.
